Place two of these lights in my entry/hallway, they light it up beautifully. My entry/hallway is no longer dark,but bright and inviting.

This item looks very nice in our entry hall, very bright and handsome.

It looks great and fits perfectly.
Luckily, my husband is a "tool guy" because the threaded (plastic) rod did not reach completely into the ceiling box. He used a longer,metal one he had. The base of this beautiful cutglass fixture was also plastic, not brass or metal. This is important to know.One would think that at the price and being an electrical unit a brass-colored metal would have been used.

This is a beautiful, if a little pricey, fixture. However, you will not be disappointed in the look or quality.
